How much does it cost to enter the contest?
Nothing! The contest is FREE to enter.

When can I submit my entry?
You may submit your entry when the contest begin on the contest tab of the Funk Volume Facebook page.

The contest begins on:   January 1, 2012
Voting will open up on:   January 30, 2012 (12:00am PST)
Voting will end on:   February 12, 2012 (16:59pm PST)
Finalist announced:  February 12 (7:00pm PST)
Winners announced: February 19, 2012 (7:00pm PST)

How many times can I enter?
Each contestant may submit one entry.

How long should my entry be?
We are asking all contestants to keep their entries to approximately 3 minutes, and no longer than 4 minutes.

Can I use more than one of the contest beats?
Yes, but please remember that the entry should still be approximately 3 minutes.

Can we enter the contest as a group?
Fasho! You may submit an entry along with another artist(s). However, if you submit a group entry, then you will not be able to submit a solo entry.

I don't have a camera to make a video. How can I still enter the contest?
No. You must submit an actual video.

Can I vote more than once?
Yes. Every video can be voted on once per day while the voting period is open.

Grand Prize: $1000
2nd Place:    $300
3rd Place:     $200

Can I use the beat that I download for my own project?
Yes, you may use the free beats for you own project, but you must agree to our non-exclusive beat agreement before downloading the beat.

Can I use my own beat for the contest?
No. You must use one of the featured beats on the contest homepage to submit your entry. All entries that do not use one of the featured beats will be disqualified.
