What does Funk Volume do?

Many artists make music, but do not have the resources, or the know-how, to get the proper exposure necessary to create greater opportunities (e.g. record deals, paid performances, endorsements, etc.). Enter – Funk Volume. We have positioned our company to serve as a stepping stone for a select group of artists to take their careers to the next level.

Funk Volume will supply the marketing and production services. All that we ask is for artists to do what they do – create dope records and push them out via their own social networks, websites, etc. We support the development of all artists, but because of limited time and resources our alliance will only be offered to a carefully selected group of artists. These artists must make good quality songs (not raps), represent their lifestyles authentically, be creative and willing to take risks, be willing to grind, and support the Funk Volume mission

We do not sign artists in the traditional sense. There will be no recording contracts, and artists will be free to leave whenever they want. Although we spend money to help promote and market our artists, there will NOT be any direct cash compensation.

Funk Volume is a marketing and production company founded to promote creativity and authentic self expression through music. Based on our belief that music has lost its originality, our vision is to make being different cool again.

Not only do we produce our own music, but we produce for others as well. If you want to turn up the funk volume on a project that you are working on, then check out our music library. We produce original music for established and up-and-coming artists, movies, TV shows, commercials, radio, video games, and websites. We also provide video production services for artists looking to create their own video.

Funk Volume is based in the Los Angeles area.
